Mechanical Designer / Engineer

Náplň práce

- Create 3D models using sheet metal and part modeling functionality in CAD
- Create complex drawings and bills of material for sheet metal, bus bar, and assemblies.
- Write, submit, release Engineering changes to new and released product documentation in CAD and Product Lifecycle
Management (PLM) database using our revision control system.
- Work with cross functional groups with the same goals for the project.
- Ability to interpret agency design standards (Such as UL) for our products.
- Create order list for prototype units and ensure material is received with Project Managers.
- Work with ETO Engineering Supervisor for task lists and priorities.
- Interact with ETO team members to efficiently breakdown tasks, discuss design ideas, and work through issues.
- Occasional contact with outside vendors and suppliers as needed.
- General knowledge of single and three phase power.
- Able to interpret schematics with electrical components such as fuses and circuit breakers

Požiadavky

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience OR
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience OR
- High School Diploma and 15+ years of relevant experience
- Must have good planning, organizing, documentation and communication skills
- Must be team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- D CAD experience is a must; prefer Solid Edge or Creo with sheet metal experience.
- Oracle PLM experience is a plus, but willing to train.
- Simulation experience is a plus (ANSYS, thermal/airflow)
